GENERATIONAL FAMILY SESSION IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS

I have been photographing the Gonsoulin Family since before their oldest was born, it’s been so much fun getting to see their family grow year by year! Recently, I got to do this generational family session for them and the rest of their loved ones. I approach large family sessions in a laid back manner, it can easily feel overwhelming to direct this many people. I always ask that you create a list of must have family groupings with each persons name listed, this helps the process run smoothly. Once the shot list has been successfully completed, we move onto candids, and any other random combinations each family member might like to have.

This session went perfectly, we started at the park behind the parents home, then to their back yard for the last few before the sun went down.

My favorites during generational family sessions are always the grandparents with their grandchildren, it’s so special. My own grandparents have never lived near us, so I know how much it means when you all get to spend time together.
