Kristen found me through an old blog post from the very first time I got to shoot up at Turner Falls in Oklahoma, this spot was her vision for their maternity session and I was so excited to get to roadtrip up there!

The Game of Thrones vibes were alive and well with the epic landscapes and moody looks! I can’t get enough of the lighting inside of the old castle ruins on the hillsides - coming in through the window to highlight her perfectly. Don’t even get me started on the fur - Kristen pinned it to her maternity gown for the castle portion of the session to add to the vibes, love it!

Wild Oak Studio in Roanoke, Texas is my absolute go to for newborn sessions! The light here is always perfect, and I love the prop options they have available. I have used the crib prop many times, and always try to find new angles.

Newborn sessions are scheduled once baby is born, within the first 1-3 weeks of babies life is the ideal time frame for newborn photos.
